I am an experienced therapist in Overland Park, providing therapy to adults of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures.
Trained in a variety of techniques and methodologies, I take a holistic approach to therapy, treating each client as a complete individual and selecting the techniques most appropriate to help you lead a healthier, more fulfilling, and more satisfying life. I place great emphasis on the mentoring side of therapy, helping you to set realistic personal goals and guiding you through the process of achieving them.
Education
Before moving into therapy, I worked as a piano teacher and bring my teaching ability with me to the office. I am skilled in uncovering each client’s unique learning style and establishing effective channels of communication.
I have specialized training in a range of therapeutic techniques, including psychodynamic Theory, Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I draw from my experience and training to provide what each client needs.
I hold a BA in Performance and Music Education from Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, NY. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology, from Avila University in Kansas City, Missouri.
I am certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
